Eligibility
Prospective students must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from the recognized Board. Students who have appeared for their 10+2 or equivalent examination and awaiting their final results are also eligible to apply subject to their passing before the commencement of the program. Please find below the eligibility criteria for the prospective students appearing their 10+2 from International Baccalaureate/ Cambridge Board.
Note:
a) Students having compartments in their final results are not eligible for admission.
b) Each program has specific eligibility criteria; please check the respective institute information for the same.
c) The admission to the program is subject to fulfillment of the specific eligibility criteria. üIt is the responsibility of the student to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualifications for admission.
d) Completion of the application and payment of the application fee does not mean acceptance of eligibility.
e) Final eligibility for admission will be decided by IPLS after the submission of all the required documents.

Document Verification & Evaluation
When the online application reaches IPLS along with the payment of the Application fee and all the required documents, IPLS will verify uploaded documents and check the requisite qualifications for admission. The application will be forwarded to the Admission Committee for Evaluation.
The Admission Committee will shortlist the applications based on the following criteria:
For NRI Students 10+2 or equivalent Transcript – 80% weightage Entrance Test (IPLSET) – 10% weightage Statement of Purpose – 5% weightage 2 Letters of Recommendation – 5% weightage
For OCI/PIO Students 10+2 or equivalent Transcript – 90% weightage Statement of Purpose – 5% weightage 2 Letters of Recommendation – 5% weightage
For FN Students 10+2 or equivalent Transcript – 90% weightage Statement of Purpose – 5% weightage 2 Letters of Recommendation – 5% weightage A final verification of original documents will be done at the time of joining
Programme Profile
Names of the Programme(s): Diploma Programs in Law
Duration : 1 Year
Eligibility: B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) & B.B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from any recognized board with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes). LL.B The candidate should be a graduate from any recognized University with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. students) in one attempt (No Compartment). Students who have appeared for their final year degree examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the announced date.
Note: It is the responsibility of the candidate to ascertain whether he/she possesses the requisite qualification(s)/ eligibility for admission. Having been admitted provisionally does not mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility of admission will be decided by IPLS, subject to the successful fulfillment of specified admission norms.
Admission Procedure
A candidate seeking admission to IPLS should complete the following procedure:
Diploma Programs in Law
a) It is mandatory to appear for IPLS-LAT (IPLS Law Admission Test).
b) Candidate must complete the IPLS-LAT (IPLS Law Admission Test) online registration process.
c) Candidate must pay Rs. 1750/- as an IPLS-LAT Registration Fees.
d) Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interaction & Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT).
