Impact, Approach & Governance
Our Impact
- Established 4 SMART training centres in Siliguri, Jalpaiguri, Dhupguri and Chakdaha. More than 150 youth equipped with employable skills through government certified skills training programs
- Collaborated with more than 20 colleges in remote part of West Bengal for conducting career counselling and personality development workshops
- Reached over 100 women from underserved communities through sanitary napkin making, as a part of structured livelihood training programs, enabling participants to develop income generating capabilities, contributing towards financial self-sufficiency.
- Conducted training program on women entrepreneurship development for 60 women through cloth and Jute bag making both, as part of climate action plan by encouraging community on reduction of plastic usage and use of cloth/jute bags and livelihood opportunity program for women
- Trained 50 ASHA workers in Howrah district on breast and cervical cancer awareness, enabling early identification and community level outreach
- Conducted more than 15 health awareness camps in a year on Breast, cervical, oral cancer focusing on early detection, prevention and reducing stigma
- Monthly health check-up camps in KMC and BMC. Provided ANC/ PNC services to more than 200 mother and 80 malnourished children through monthly health camps.
